Welcome to the Hazel Street Church of Christ website. Our aim is to promote the gospel of Christ by preaching the truth and putting into action our faith mixed with Christ's love (cf. John 13:34-35; Eph. 4:15). Our preaching and teaching is Christ-Centered and powerful. It is our firm conviction that we "are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy" (1 Peter 2:9-10).

What you see is what you get when you visit this congregation, that is, we are a simple people seeking to live and worship by the transforming influence of God's Word and His Holy Spirit (cf. Rom. 12:1-2; Gal. 5:22-23; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 4:2). We will be the first to say that each of us are a continuing work in progress, however, we continue to "press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 3:14).

It is our hope that when you visit us, you will find it easy to walk away happy and feeling blessed after experiencing the love of Christ and sweet fellowship with His people.

"Greet one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ greet you" (Rom. 16:16).
